When you sign in using email or phone number (OTP), we collect:

  • Email address or phone number (for authentication only)

We do not collect passwords or sensitive personal data.

b. Device & Usage Data

We collect:

  • Device type, OS version, and device ID
  • IP address and language preferences
  • App usage (e.g., which features you use, how often)
  • Crash reports and diagnostics

c. Camera & Location Access

  • Camera: Used for AR features (e.g., green scanning). We do not store or transmit video or images. Processing occurs on your device.
  • Location (optional): May be used to improve accuracy of AR features or suggest nearby courses. Only accessed with your explicit permission.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to:

  • Provide secure login and account access (OTP)
  • Enable core AR and golf features
  • Analyze usage to improve performance
  • Send relevant updates or support responses (if you opt in)

We will not send promotional emails or texts without your consent.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We may share non-personal or aggregated data with:

  • Analytics providers (e.g., Firebase, Apple App Analytics)
  • Crash reporting services (e.g., Sentry, Firebase Crashlytics)

We never sell or rent your personal information.
We only share personal data when legally required or to prevent fraud.

4. Data Retention

  • Authentication data (email/phone) is stored securely and retained only as long as needed.
  • Usage data is stored in anonymized or aggregated form.
  • You can request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

OTP login is managed securely using industry-standard protocols. We do not store OTP codes or passwords.

6. Children’s Privacy

The app is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe your child has provided personal data, please contact us for deletion.

7. International Users / GDPR Compliance

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA):

  • Your data controller is Putty Golf LLC.
  • You have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data.
  • Legal basis: We process your data with your consent (e.g., for login) or to fulfill a legitimate interest (e.g., improving the app).
